The Ferretto Spa takes to the field alongside the students of the Istituto comprensivo Ciscato di Malo in the FIRST® LEGO® League. On Saturday, 12 March the young students of the Malo school will be engaged in Piacenza for the qualification of the “North West 2” zone of the world-wide team contest of science and robotics promoted by the USA-based international youth organization FIRST (acronym of For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and by the LEGO group.
The Ferretto Spa has chosen to support Malo’s team in a project that challenges students to design, build and program autonomous robots, for real world problems of general, ecological, economic and social interest, in order to seek innovative solutions. This year’s theme is also related to logistics since we are talking about “Cargo Connect“: participants will discuss their “robotic constructions” on transport, storage and delivery of goods, also trying to rethink the way they are transferred from one place to another.
