Vertimag vertical and other automated storage systems will be in the spotlight at the Bologna trade show to be held from 29 to 31 March
At the most important Italian event dedicated to innovations for the manufacturing industry, automated logistics systems are a must. Once again this year the Ferretto will participate in MECSPE, presenting its automated storage systems to visitors at the Bologna trade show. From 29 to 31 March the solutions that enable industries from very diverse sectors to manage their logistics effectively, safely, and with significant space optimization, will be starring attractions at the stand of the Vicenza-headquartered company, one of the main Italian operators in the field of storage and material handling systems.
The MECSPE attendees will, in fact, have the opportunity to learn about the range of systems that the Ferretto offers the market and which it manufactures entirely in-house, from design to management software: automatic storage systems with stacker cranes, automatic storage systems for plates and sheet metal, automated vertical storage systems. Among the latter, Vertimag will surely be present, the latest generation of which has further improved the capacity of the system to manage materials of every size, weight and dimension and respond effectively to the needs of the most diverse production sectors. Completely updated and improved with respect to the previous version, Vertimag still guarantees its remarkable space optimization – taking up just 1/10 of the surface area occupied by a traditional storage unit – as well as unparalleled versatility thanks to six types of bay and no fewer than 120 combinations of tray sizes, not to mention user-friendlymanagement with in-house designed software, process automation and safety for products and staff. Available in 15 versions with heights ranging from 3 to 12 meters, the storage system can be customized with many accessories to meet specific production and picking needs.
At the Ferretto stand (hall 29, stand A28), however, Vertimag will not be the only protagonist: immersive videos and case histories will also demonstrate other solutions that are designed and produced by the company, such as automatic storage systems for pallets, boxes, loose products, metal sheetsand bars.
